I'm a cosplayer & artist originally from the Quinte Region in Ontario, moved to Ottawa, Ontario (the capital of Canada). I started cosplay in late 2007, attending my first convention in 2008 at Anime North.
I started cosplay with buying items and doing casual versions, to thrifting, and my mother making my costumes. In 2011 she taught me how to sew and have been sewing on my own ever since, constantly trying to learn new things. Including all casual costumes & commissions, I have made and assembled over 200 costumes in my time doing this hobby.
I recently achieved the long-time goal of entering into the ICG Regional Master level at Ottawa Comic Con 2023. Awards for Asmodeus (Hellluva Boss) gave the final push needed to enter Master.
My costume list is ever-growing as I never run out of ideas on what to make next, and am always working on a costume of some sort. I have cosplayed from numerous genres including anime, manga, video games, television, comics and original costumes. In my years of cosplay I've learned how to make my own patterns, beadwork, hand embroidery, tailoring, and some couture sewing. In 2020 I took to TikTok to share my costumes there, mostly doing performance videos, and the occasional tip and tutorial video, which I'm trying to get more into.
In addition to cosplay, I do photography on the side as a hobby, which made me the official convention photographer for FrostCon in Toronto. In addition I am the founder of the Quinte Halloween Cosplay Day and am the former convention chair of Quinte Mini Con in Belleville.
