PJ Roxas - Kingdom Hearts II
Worn:
Con-G 2012 (Guelph, ON)
Status: Retired
Why PJ Roxas?
Originally I'd wanted to make his actual PJs from KH2, but that didn't happen due to that I wasn't sure how to go about the shirt. It was a lot of fun and super comfy though! It made for a nice nighttime cosplay.
The pyjama pants were made using broadcloth in black and white checks - very Roxas- which I originally bought in 2009. I paid a total of $12 for the fabric. I used a basic pants pattern which I actually had to shorten because the pattern was far too long for my legs. I took about four inches off the bottom. Once the pants were put together, I made a casement in the waist and put an elastic band inside. This way they sit comfortably on me while wearing them.
The shirt I bought a long time ago for about $2, and using craft paint I painted on the XIII on the back, and the Nobody symbol on the front.
Slippers were given to me by one of my mom's friends (free).
Wig was styled in 2008, restyled in 2009 by my friend Alexis Rider. September 2011 (the day before Montréal Comic Con), I added in a few small spikes at the sides.
