It's that time of year where I have no more projects that I can fit into the last week, and I'm already working on everything for 2019. So, I have a 2018 year in review blog for you all, to see what happened with my year. I won't go into insane amounts of detail here, but I'll cover what I feel I should cover for my year.

This was the 5th year that I hosted the Spring Cosplay Day. This year was a touch on the small side but it was still a lot of fun. Despite all of the rain. We spent most of the day at the park thankfully. I got there a little late with my boyfriend Victor and my friend FataliTea Cosplay. I debuted the 12th Doctor at this event, and my friend debuted their casual Edward Elric. We were at the park just the three of us for about an hour and a half before others started arriving. There was some light rain so many assumed that we had gone to the mall. Nope, still there, but the rain wasn't bad at all. There were so many photos taken for each person and most of the day was actually spent talking and goofing off. I'm thankful that I had this day of fun personally since I had had a few very stressful weeks - especially with work. We finished the day off though by going to the mall for the last 2-3 hours. We were all cold and quite wet from the rain at the park. Plus, the public washrooms at the park were locked which was pretty stupid in my opinion. As well, the mall had food for everyone. Poutine from New York Fries tastes extra good when you're so cold and hungry. I was so excited to have Victor come to this event too. He really enjoyed it and got along with everyone! We actually left from his friend's place at Sharbot Lake (1hr 30min drive from Belleville). We drove to my house in our individual vehicles so I could leave my van with my mom so she could use it to go out if needed, so we went to the park in his car. I hope at some point in the near future before it gets too hot (or even in the fall maybe?) to do a photoshoot of The Doctor with my van, since my van is called The TARDIS. It's a van, and it has extra hiding spaces. It's bigger on the inside! All in all, the Spring Cosplay Day was a lot of fun as always, even if it did rain! I honestly thought that now with it being September, my convention and event schedule would start to calm down. Oh boy am I wrong. Instead I keep adding events to go to and consider. And of course Quinte Mini Con is in two months.
This was the third year that I've hosted the Spring Cosplay Day. Each year keeps getting more fun. Although we have not been able to play Slender the last two years, we are able to have heaps of fun :)
